I'm really interested in those little arboreal tropical snakes like Sibon & Dipsas and how they might have influenced various behaviors (calling, oviposition, guarding) in some of those tropical stream frogs. I'm especially interested in how a foraging snake might track down an arboreal frog or egg clutches when the substrate is leafy branches and lots of open spaces! @kwren88noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9143200634875010591.post-66423594121188673782013-12-11T09:54:21.750-08:002013-12-11T09:54:21.750-08:00I agree that this is a great area for future resea...I agree that this is a great area for future research and I appreciate your summary of what is known about the topic related to snakes. I think there are also are bunch of interesting 'short-term' behaviors that snakes do in response to predators. For example, Andrew Durso just published a great article about death-feigning in Hognosed Snakes, and I think these types of behaviors will also produce an exciting line of study.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14285610649119277081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9143200634875010591.post-75276013474347345852013-12-11T09:51:17.554-08:002013-12-11T09:51:17.554-08:00As you should be...As you should be...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14285610649119277081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9143200634875010591.post-17556648577658631172013-12-09T14:04:11.222-08:002013-12-09T14:04:11.222-08:00This is awesomely informative.
